Our Story
The Mediterranean olive tree finds its place in your space.
Olive Tree by Terzakis was founded in 1998 by Konstantinos Terzakis, based in the village of Alagni, in the Heraklion Prefecture of Crete, a place deeply connected to olive cultivation and Mediterranean tradition.
In its early stages, the nursery operated exclusively in the production and trade of olive saplings for agricultural use, as well as for wholesale and retail distribution. Knowledge, experience, and daily contact with the plant formed the foundation for the company's evolution.
In 2005, an olive bonsai, received as a gift by the founder, became the catalyst for a new creative direction: experimenting with the art of bonsai and producing olive trees as living works of natural aesthetics.
Since 2017, with Nikos Terzakis taking over the business after 12 years of experience in the field, the nursery has dynamically expanded into the sector of bonsai olive trees and mini olive trees, while maintaining the production of classic olive trees for agricultural use.
From day one until today, we remain in the same location, in Alagni, Crete. True to our roots and dedicated to quality.

Our mission is to highlight the olive tree as a symbol of life, longevity, and balance, combining traditional cultivation with modern aesthetics and the art of bonsai.
